Child Development Conference
In 2024, Nurturing Lives had the honor of partnering with East Los Angeles College to host an impactful conference for child development students and professors. The event focused on trauma-informed practices, effective parenting strategies, and fostering resilience in children and families.
Through engaging workshops and interactive discussions, attendees gained valuable tools to enhance their personal growth and professional expertise in the child development field. The conference served as a powerful opportunity to inspire future educators and empower seasoned professionals to create compassionate, trauma-informed environments for the children and families they serve.

Trauma-Informed Healing Art Workshops: Supporting Healing
Facilitating trauma-informed healing art workshops involves creating a safe, supportive environment where participants can express themselves through creative activities. The focus is on fostering emotional healing, building resilience, and promoting self-awareness without triggering past trauma.

Our goal is to educate the community about the dangers of domestic violence, raise awareness of its impact, and provide resources for support. We strive to break the cycle of abuse by empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools to recognize unhealthy relationships, promote healthy communication, and create a safer environment for everyone.
